Chad roundel

Escadrille Nationale Tchadienne was formed in 1961 and became Force Aerienne Tchadienne in 1973.

Roundel of red-yellow-blue is based on the national flag, used since 1960's. Source: L'Album, 2000 [pay00], Cochrane & Elliott, 1998 [cos98]

[cos98] report a vertical rudder stripes as seen at http://www.skytamer.com/roundels/chad/01.htm.

However. They report it mirrored (red inside - but maybe those are mirrored on the left side....I doubt it) while Wheeler, 1986, [whe86], reports them as fin flash with blue inside....

Both from the right site, both blue inside and red is outside... Another mistake for [cos98] ?
